Just came up from our crawl space, Mother Nature gave norther Huron County and western/southern Erie County the big ol middle finger this evening. Fingers crossed that its not too bad when I walk outside to check things out. Our house has never made those sounds since we moved in in 08.

Damn, Adam, glad y’all are ok... Things can be replaced, glad you the wife and the boys are ok...
I was thinking of you earlier while I drove through that mess. I was coming up 250 when it hit. That was some nasty weather. Trees and power lines blocked 250, I circled back through Olena and tried to go up 61... It was blocked too. Ended up zigzagging country roads over to Peru Center and made it to Monroeville. Nasty, nasty storm. Glad you guys are alright over there.

Glad you and the family are ok. Did it blow that camper end over end? Cant figure out how it got wedged in there like that without that or going over the barn.
No idea. What a shit storm of a day. Woulda much rather been back in the stand!
Round 1, wife and oldest in Sandusky as Erie County goes under twister warning. All good, we unload groceries and start talking about dinner. She tells me her phone isn’t charging and wants to head into Norwalk to Verizon store to see if they could figure it out. She takes middle 1 this go round and I voiced my opinion that it could wait till tomm after Work. Round 2 hits and twister warning for Huron County. No way to get ahold of her as phone lines are down along with power. I finally get thru to the store and they r good. Store closes at 8, she doesn’t roll in until 9:15 and tells me she hit a deer at the end of the road. I’m beyond pissed at this point. Sheriff dept. has there hands full but we need a report # for insurance claim as bumper, passenger side fender and door are fucked. Deputy just left and I’m setting up our camper in case power is still out and house chills down tonight. What.in.thee.fuck.
I guess I’m taking a vacation day tomm. Hopefully can make the best of things and get in the stand later in the afternoon.

Damn, sorry to hear about all that Adam.... When the daughter hit a deer years ago (Allstate) didn’t require a report, filed it under comprehensive if I remember right....

Just the curveballs of life. We are back up and running as of 4:30 this morning. I’m headed to work in a few and someone is going to put down a deer today after that warm and wild weather yesterday.

I had a feeling about today too. But where I’m at it decided to fuggin start pouring and hasn’t stopped since I got in the blind. I’m already out here so might as well sit but I think today will be a bust for me.
