Karissa and I are out this afternoon/evening. Been sitting in blind since 2:15. Wind in our favor if deer are consistent on where they bed and enter standing beans. Only negative is the sun sets in that direction so we’ll have to be careful not to get picked off moving when it’s crunch time. I swapped the scrape card and caught one of the target bucks checking on it on the 3rd at 6:50pm. Hope we at least see one and are able to get a good shot off. We’ll prolly have 3-4 sets of doe eyes scanning the field while they feed so I hope if any shooters come out we can get it done.

Been out for about 30 minutes with a buddy. Usually a group of 30 or more doe using this corn field. Just a matter of them gettinf to us before quitting time

29 does came out of bedding area and passed by between 20 and 60 yards. 20 gauge slug gun....could’ve killed any one I wanted...zero bucks in that herd! Maybe he’ll be a late show.

I gotta get one of those things you attach to your phone so that you can zoom out and take good video. It’s pretty exciting to have a large herd like that move through, hoping there’s a nice buck with them. Anyone have a brand or model they recommend?

Some friends did some deer drives today, one guy killed this buck....look what it went down next to.

Seen about 40 does and two small bucks. Had some of them at 50 yards but not on ground we can hunt. They just needed to move a little earlier
