Perks of sitting in the blind set up in July for the first time of the season: Forgetting there isn’t a chair!!

I'm not 100% certain, but I do believe I just seen my first Bobcat approximately 400 yards away, on the other side of field from me.

I know it's an awfully big cat of some sort walking slowly along the field & wood line edge,

It just stepped into the woods.

It has all the right colors & it's big!

Just had 6 does/youngins sneak in behind me. Was watching a squirrel and didn't see or hear em. Guess how that went for me?

Decided to sit last night, wind sucked so didn’t expect anything. Ended seeing 8 does and fawns. Picked out a fat doe and decided I’d take her, she got lucky and left with just a haircut. Shot low and took some hair off her belly. I’ll probably sit tonight just too. Good luck fellas!

The best hit when you only have a couples acres to work with. He had his chance to leave when momma got nervous and left. I had been after him for 2 months.
