Just had one of the best bucks I’ve seen in person cruise by at 60-70 yards. Not a giant but a good deer. I think I have pics of him. See if he’ll work back on these white oak acorns and let me get a better look at him. Welcome to 2018 Motha Fuggers!!!

Checking in for the 2018 / 2019 season
I'm on the ground in a low risk spot this morning. Low probability of success too but I can't get careless yet with this particular wind. Just hoping Lady luck will pay me a visit. If not, hopefully tonight I'll have some more intel and I can make a more aggressive move. Thankfully this cool weather has the mosquitoes kept at bay for the most part.

Just busted by a 6 directly under my stand, I sneezed, he then blew at me 7001 times, 1 more than Jesse's deer
Had a shooter 8 pt bedded 20 yards to my west at daybreak. Does UPWIND of me blew 7002 times and ran him off. They stayed. Blew again after 45 minutes of eating clover 20 yards from me. Upwind. No movement.
If he's a guest on the property, it'd be his last visit.

It's official...all the deer have went South for the winter. No use hunting everyone. Just go back home and drink some bourbon. Lol.
