7 deer and 10 turkeys tonight. Just didn’t have it in me to shoot a doe that had twin fawns with spots still on them.

Didnt see anything. When I got down from the stand I was heading to my truck. About half way to my truck I was hearing kids yelling. I'm like wtf is going on. Then when I crossed overthe creek to get to my truck there were like 20 little girls goofing around and 10 cars parking. Wth is going on. As I was leaving their house I noticed a birthday party balloons tied to the mailbox. Gotdamn, lol. Wouldn't it be nice if the owner could tell me that they were having a birthday party for their daughter. Lol.
You were out on stand, enjoyed the view and weather, couldn't have been all that bad.
I loved every min of being up on that stand. Weather was fuggin nice.

We saw 6 with 3 being buck, but nothing got within range.
I saw a dozen or so, 5 were bucks, with the biggest being a 2.5 year old eight point. All of them sparred with each other for 30 minutes. Nothing I'd hit the release on, but a great start to the season.
Live from the couch now, no reception at my spot. Hunted the spot in this pic, guess I shoulda been there this afternoon lol
Saw 8 doe, a spike, 4 point, and a solid young 8. Also had coyotes howling and tipping all around me. Fuggers!!!
Just imagine if you could actually hear what was going on, probably would of left after 15 minutes [emoji23]

Well he shot him. Waited an hour and trailed him about 150 yards before finding a bed full of blood. Backed out for the night. At impact there was a good crack and the luminock flew back 15 feet towards us. After calling off the search for the night we went back and tried to find the arrow. Not good maybe 5 inches of penetration. The old iron shoulder strikes again.
