Sitting here all morning watching blue Jays rob the corn. We have stray cats all over & I keep hearing a kitten meowing . Turns out, it's the fucking Jay doing it. I tried to corralate the Jay & the sound earlier, but wasn't sure until just now. I'm bored...lol

Thanks guys for all the well-wishes and support. I love being a part of this forum for that very reason. I’ve learned a lot from you all as well. This is the first year in many many many moons that I’ve actually filled my buck tag in October. I’d like to put a quick plug-in for the farmers and hunters feeding the hungry program (FHFH). I just dropped this guy off (I donate my first deer as a thank you for the blessing I received). I know they feed thousands of families across Ohio. If you end up with an extra deer this year it’s free to you and it’s a great way to support the community. Now it’s time to get back out and get one for my freezer — Rick

I stayed out till @ 1230. This is that little buck that came in. He was more concerned about his stomach than those 6 other deer.

Afternoon hunt along a clear cut. Saw one lone doe at 2:30. Maybe button buck? Hunting until 4. Gotta get kids to football and scouts. Hopefully tomorrow morning will be on key!

Back at it. Saw a shooter on the way in cruising to the east and as I was setting up a little forkie comes in under me. I feel different tonight. Who knows!!!
