Morning sunrise
Very quiet, very wet with a touch of fog. Another good day for a 'spot-n-stalk' if I can spot a decent buck at some point.
In the meantime, I'll stay under the umbrella once again.
Nothing heard nor seen just yet, but it's still kinda early.

Yup, it’s perfect sleeping weather. 38* with a steady rain. If someone would quit shutting himself, he might be able to catch a nap. Fuggen STINKS in here!

Possibly the most I’ve ever hunted this spot in one season. I think this is sit 4 here with only one deer sighting.
Snowing here. Didn't make it out this morning with this South East wind. Probably make it out this afternoon as the wind is supposed to change to a NW wind around 4 or so.

Finally, a few birds showed up. Only thing I’ve seen so far. Maybe the woods is waking up a little late.

Went to the little ambush spot this morning to shoot a doe for the freezer and got skunked. Also got soaked or I might of stayed a little longer. Rain/snow mix the whole time.
I’m writing books on safety...does that tell you how my hunts going?

Still the same I’ve seen the rest of this hunt. Starting to get a little chilly now though.
