First day muzzleloader hunting my home land. Walking in found new fresh rubs, couple of scrapes freshened up. Only seen 4 does this morning. Out to sit until 5, have to quit early tonight.

More than likely my last sit for the season. Little windy but not bad. Sat here last night and saw a few deer. Hopefully one comes back. Good luck fellas

Skunked this evening, only 1 doe this morning, offered no shot. Tomorrow is another day.

Finally after 3 days I saw some deer. 200 yards away with 5 minutes of legal shooting time. Just sat back and watched feed in the field until I couldn’t see them anymore.....
Hit it again tomorrow, with hopefully better results....

I’m showing a feels like temp of 14* pretty much the entirety of Weds!! Could it be?!?
New spot this afternoon on the ground in a pop up. Lots of deer signs. Around 330 saw 4 or 5 deer all does as far as I could see in the brush. One spotted me and they all walked off. Then 14 turkeys walked by. No bucks but it was a great day anyway.

Good Luck to all that's out. I was hoping to feel better by this evening but not looking real good.
I heard a tree fall Sunday night not far from where I was set up. I think a skirrel took a ride by the amount of squawking I heard during its fall.....and there was hardly a breeze
