Dam been horrible morning for me. Somehow got to stand late, I swear it was daylight at 615. Worked up a sweat due to this. Busted twice now by deer winding me. I obviously stink. This whole property has deer blowing all over. Last bitch blew 37 times and counting. My sweat has frozen and I have ice Crystal's all over me. I knew there was a reason I took up fishing.

Heading out to ostrander farm. One of those days when everything seems to work against you and expectations are lowered. Wanted to get out before daybreak winds arent the geatest for my area. Just hope that what has happened in past, comes true today. Many times when everything is setup perfect like wind, stand placement, weather and you just know its going to be a great day, nothing moves. Does seem for me atleast ,when it you have low expectations sometimes those days surprise you and end up being a day to remember. About to head out here in a bitand hope to be in stand in an hour or so till dark. Good luck TOO all whose out there. Ill post a couple pics of my set upon new farm. Only hunted it a couple times. Hope third time is a charm.

It was 25* at daylight. Frozen lifeline and bow rope make for a tense couple of minutes in the dark. Little buck bumping 2 does in a thicket. 2 slightly better bucks watching it.

I'm out here. Plenty of movement. lots of small bucks. Watched a 2.5 year old breed a doe 25 yards away from me. And then that buck ran off every buck that came near her. Cold as fuck. But good AM

Stuck at work till about 2 oclock and them I will hit the woods. Ill hunt it hard this weekend I feel like this is the weekend to be in the woods. Just a gut feeling. Good luck to everyone!

The wind kept blowing the hood up on my jacket the day I spent my buck tag. Keep the faith peoples! Took less than a minute for it all to happen, when it happened. Wrong wind, didn’t feel right, gut was telling me I was wrong. Hikers out hiking. Everything about it was wrong...and it still happened. Any time on stand this time of year is worth it! Even if you can only sit from noon-2.

5 hour sit for 5 minutes of action this morning. I’m low on a timbered point this afternoon. Hoping for some prolonged action.

Did no good this morning, so I grabbed my Lone Wolf and took off headed North.

Now I'm at a brand new spot that I've never hunted before. I can see forever from here.
