Lol Mike! Good luck out there today! The weather the past 3-4 days have been ideal! How many more days you got left to hunt? You able to get out during gun season?

I go back to work on the 29th. I will spend the 4 days before Thanksgiving at our WV camp for rifle season. I will be off the first 3-4 days of Ohio gun. It will be a total stranger or a certain cull buck before I use my Ohio tag.

Where'd the deer go?

Saw one small buck bed down about 200 yards away, nothing else but birds and nut gatherers.

Thinking about doing some grunting this afternoon.

I was at Ft. Belvoir from 1989 - 1995. Stayed in the area until 2003..
I’ve been there...I was in the 561st MP company...they changed the name to MDW (Military District of Washington) MP company around ‘84 or ‘85. We were assigned to the 3rd infantry (the guys who guard the tomb of the unknown soldier). It was good duty...did a lot of security for wreath laying ceremonies.

I was in the Signal Corp. Work at INSCOM. Information Systems Command. Did a lot of bowhunting on Ft. Belvoir. They only allowed bowhunting so it was great, the deer never really got spooked like they do when the guns start going off.
