I’m out. Wish I had picked a better tree but there aren’t many options for stands in this location. We will see how it goes

Had my first sit of the year. Had a nice young 8 stroll by around 5:15. Nothing after that. Beautiful evening though.

Trying this stand one more time this morning. Just had a young doe popping acorns. A couple passed by before daylight. Right at dark last night I had a good wv buck bumping does. At 10 yards I had to use binoculars to see him.
Did you remember to feed the people locked in your basement? Every selfie you take makes you look like a creepy mofo!
It puts the lotion on the skin.

I’m sitting on the ground 100 yards east of my truck. Mason made the walk on back to our favorite stand. Kid feels the need to shoot stuff all the time...

I’ve seen a doe with two fawns so far.
I hunted a new public spot tonight, ended up seeing a dink buck. Another good run with the mobile setup, shaved a few minutes off and worked out a couple more kinks lol

Reminds me more of an ole fox squirrel with a warble or two and is about to start barking at me 5 ft away.
Finally settled in. It's dry, loud, and hot. But it's a bonus hunt as the wife didn't end up leaving for the evening like planned. Schwingggggg

Mason is texting me updates. He climbed in at 515 and had seen two small bucks, a doe and fawn at 530. I haven’t heard anything since.
