LIVE from the stand 2019-20

Had the most rut action i have every seen tonight. Had 3 different bucks on the trail so does took and harrassing some does that were around at different times. Grunted at all of them to try to get them a little closer in range but they totally ignored it. They didnt spook but also didnt respond. Now i feel worried i shouldnt have grunted and that they will be weary next time when they come into the area.

So I tied off the tarsal glands to my rope. Horrible idea. Now I have stinky rutty buck piss smelling fingers. With it being cold, the nose runs. Yeah. Don't wipe your nose with buck piss fingers. Now I have buck piss smelling facial hair and nostrils. My dog won't leave me alone. My wife won't kiss me. I'm not even going to talk about the need to rub my eye. I would have the wife do it, but she won't get close enough to me to help scratch the eye.

Cold as can be this afternoon on stand. Even with the snow cover enabling me to see further into the woods not a deer anywhere. At least until I drove out the gate. Neighbors lawn had 4 on one side and 5 on the other. All does calmly grazing.
 
Going up 77N yesterday about noon, right around Seneca lake exit there was 5 dead on road and 4 were bucks, then seen a really wide one crossing a field 5 min later.

Locally there's nothing happening the last few days. Zero on cams, nobody seeing shit. Either running wild or locked
