In true Josh fashion, he was pretty upset that we didn't have Maddy with us. She could've had her first buck tonight! Pretty cool looking 8 point was the first deer in the plot. Stood broadside at 20-22 yards and fed for a while.
Hell of a way to end a fine season! We sure did find us some of those famous ohio pockets of deer. Now if I can refrain from doing what hunters do best and keep this going.
I think I tagged 4 this season and both boys got their first deer. Not sure how it gets much better, but we will try like hell next season to top it! Time for some scouting and possibly find some antlers. Cheers fellas! Another season is in the books. I hate to see this thread end every year. 3,262 entries and I looked forward to every one. Well done TOO!
