Awesome to see the kids killing deer! Congratulations!
I'm still on cloud 9 and have clean hands. Never seen a mature buck either. But it was nonstop action from 2 till dark. Thats a good sit! Only had one deer bust me. My legs and ass were hurt so bad I had to stand up. Doe I couldn't see was about 15 yards away standing in the weeds. Not sure if she seen me or not because 2 beard draggers came by at the same time. But she was blowing her head off. Turkeys never spooked so I'm guessing she was freaking out over them.

First sit in Jersey...saw 17 does, a 3 pointer, a 6 pointer and 10 Tom turkeys. Damn turkeys chased the deer from the pile three times....they’d start cutting loud and running in short burst around the deer and they sure didn’t like it. I in turn scared the turkeys away when the deer left, but the sum bitches kept coming back.
Well, I'd say it's time to start thinning out some of those does in your area and make room for more of those better bucks. Perhaps , donate those harvested or take a couple of newbies with you that have a burning deer tag in their pocket.

Catching up while waiting out the rain before heading in. Been hunting daily with a couple dandy’s I’ve been keeping up on. Had one at 5 yds the other night in the only spot I couldn’t get a shot on. I was going through the motions waiting on my spot to pick when the small breeze I had stopped. At that point my thermals dropped and he got nervous. All the fun... last night had both of them together but two far for anything to happen. Try again soon as this rain quits or at leave slows in a few.
