Saw 3 doe around 5:30 this morning. Didn’t see anything during daylight.

There’s a buck bed about 100 yards from my blind and that fat bastard would get up and walk every soft grunt I hit and bed back down.

Here’s to hoping he’s a little more interested in the morning [emoji482]

4 does and a literal fuckton of ssquirrels. I had to explain to her that she only has one more tag left and if she wants a buck, she can't shoot the doe, but I'd let her shoot the biggest doe if she wanted to fill both tags. She chose to hold off.
I have had that same convo with 60 something year old men and they decided to shoot, good for her

No feeling it today. The fires out, my hunting clothes reek of golden retriever I opened the door to a stout northeast wind. Coffee and windshield time...good luck all

4 antlerless in the field, to my South, within 100 yrds., pretty much right from the beginning of the hunt. They're stll there grazing in the field. NE winds has picked up right at daylight and the temps have fallen. Feels good, but no real excitement yet within bow range.

Good luck out there fellas!
