LIVE from the stand 2020-21

Hoping the 9series deere kicks out more whitetail kind behind the house.

He is cutting my corner now. Bet he seen me in the tree and will be done here in 15 minutes. Had a little buck bust me as the sun is beaming on me 20 minutes before the combine hit the field.

Starting to hate bow hunting lol.

K and I slipped out for the last hour. Was a beautiful sunset, but only birds and squirrels were seen. Back out in the AM before school to try again. With this front and a few days of N winds, it's time to hunt hard. Sunday it warms up and gets windy again. She's getting antsy to shoot another doe, so we need a buck to step in front of us soon or I won't be able to hold her off another big doe!

so nearly every year I went away for a few days to hunt public spots or Knox county with friends. this is season number three with no trip. Sitting in my living room with a cranky spouse (who's not often that way) loud children and two attention hog dogs it's kinda lack luster. I shouldn't bitch as I have two days off but dang the no responsibility of a trip is probably the best part. At least the woods will be peaceful tomorrow with no time clock importance but sunrise....i might go to bed to make morning get here faster

Hopefully things start to get better around here or it’s going to be a long 2 days off

I'm in. As I was getting back into my truck after dropping corn, there was a big buck on the gas line on the next property over. He saw me and slowly took off. So I hustled up and parked my truck and jogged back to the blind. Then there was another smaller deer as I was getting close to my blind. Man I hope they circle back

I love ya brother, but I can't let this slip by without a comment. . . . I'd have paid money to see this. I'm picturing Dustin "Aww shit! I haven't ran since my last PT test. Freaking deer!" :p
