Live from the stand 2021/22

The bow rope saga continues. It was wrapped around the stand and top of sticks this time. I even left it wrapped 3 times around the bottom step when I left.
Back in WV for a day and a half. Zero deer on cell cam this week. This was the hot spot the last 2 years. I’m sure it will be eventually but not yet. Too hot to hike down into where I think they are. Only came up to hang out with my dad.

Arg. Saw 3 coyotes. Called them in. One saw me draw. Another at 12 yards. Needed to go 5’ one way or the other. Stood there for about a minute. Then bolted.
2 WV 11 points and a 6 point. Cold front this weekend should make things pick up.

Back up in the stand on the ridge/lowgap in WV. After the buck sightings and checking a cam I’m rejuvenated. Still too warm but I know there’sa chance. But saw nothing.
Tyler hunted for the first time tonight…in the stand I’ve been avoiding because I wasn’t sure I wanted to kill a 9 point we have. He texted me at dark. Thinks he heard it crash.
