Flirting with a very questionable wind today, but are you guys silly? Still gonna send it. Hunting that same property that I had that super wide 8 at 40yds the other day. Got in a lot later than I wanted to but I still opted to hang and hunt this morning in a tree that has more cover, but wouldn’t be suitable for a hang on stand. Was able to walk the swamp in so I left no scent on my entry which is nice. Caked my boots and tree in ever calm and borrowed @OhioWhiteTails doe decoy to hopefully get the buck deerz to close the distance in these open oaks. Gonna do a rattling sequence shortly and cross my fingers. Good luck to anyone else out!

No wind, just thermals today. Classic example of why hunting higher elevations in the morning is a smart tactic. Your breath is a better indicator of your scent stream than milk weed on a morning like this IMO.

Zero wind so far. Beautiful. Perfect conditions. ….where da deerz at? 
Buddy of mine called me yesterday and said his target buck showed up on his cell camera at 10:15. I told him to get in there. He killed him at 6:00.

Weirdly quiet morning for such awesome conditions. Could only hunt til 9. Absolutely nothing around but squirrels. Dad didn’t see anything til about 9:15. 2 does then a spike. Seems like mid to late morning have been best last few days.
It just doesn’t seem to be happening here yet. Pooh Bears hundred acre wood is eerily quiet. 2 mature does, 2 fawns, an unidentifiable deer and a lonely 6 point this morning.
Those first two deer set some unrealistic expectations right out of the gate. Just a lone forkhorn since then. Did have some odd crashing going on across the ravine from here, but never saw anything and no deer noises were made. Hopefully the next 2 hours are more entertaining. I'm over the cold hump, but barely!

Strangely quiet here. Not a single deer, one squirrel, one coon and countless woodies in the swamp. Still early yet, but pretty disappointed if I’m being honest.
I've been double gar holed by these northern guys. Swell pals they are. Psh
Yes I am an idiot. 4 year old that I have a shed from. Chasing a doe, but she gave him the slip.
I mean, idiot is a strong word and we all know you're no dummy. But ya lost yo damn mind
