One lone doe so far at 7:10. Woods seem quiet today.

Three does out of range. They seemed to be in a hurry to get to bed.

Was making breakfast and looked out the kitchen window and a pretty decent buck was chasing a doe back in the woods.

Lots of shooting about 4-500 yards away. Either doves or skeet…to many to be from rabbit hunting.

Another young much better buck than the first just cruised by. Seems to be on the prowl, searching hard for the ladies I gather.

The 3 year old 12, a spike and the one I passed yesterday all cruised by searching.

6 point bird dogging.
My 80 year old dad bought a ladder stand so I have to go put that up here in an hour. Going to be a 200 yards flat walk for him. Any west wind will work and we get a lot of daylight cam action there.

It's warming up rather quickly. I'll be getting down in about a half hour and peel off these huntin clothes before I start to sweat in them. Plus I have some chores that need attended to and a couple of animals that need out. Before I leave here though, I'll be pulling the SD card from the TC and hopefully see what I spooked earlier this morning when I first arrived to my tree.

Expect me to be back out later. The weather has been somethin else. I'm just lovin it!

20 does within 30 yards this morning…not a single buck. May run down to Athens next week to see if it’s any better down there

Now they just ran down the ravine, up the side hill, then turned and ran back over the hill in the direction they just came from. Then they started to snort at something. At least it’s bumping up my numbers….and it’s a good sign that they’re moving at mid day.
