Beautiful morning. Had 2 nochs light up on me when they went into the string and no way to turn them off. My paper clip must have fallen off my zipper.

Small 4 point fed through the field. Not legal here or my cousin woulda put him down. Dad shot a big doe. Very little movement so far

Had a good morning- 4 young bucks pushing some does two separate times. No shooters.

Had to sit out yesterday and this morning but my brother in law killed a dandy yesterday afternoon. He poked him at 269 yards, real big body. Old boy had some sure enough stank going on.

Doe and 3 fawns fed outsided the lot next door briefly. Rain set in just b4 dark got down. Bumped a heavy hoofed single deer i couldnt see through thick crap walking out. Crap.

My dad shot over the back of a gigantic doe at 455pm tonight. We passed on a year and a half old 10 with a lot of potential to come. We will be back at it tomorrow!

Another great 2 days of hunting (Friday and Saturday). It's always great to get out. I've been hitting it freakin hard this year...harder than in years past. Unfortunately I'm not seeing any bucks within range and only a few out of range. And none of those were worth getting that excited over. And does, few and far between. Not much on trail cams either. Not sure what the deal is this year but I'm getting pretty bummed out getting skunked over and over. Gun season always produces...even if it's to fill the freezer so I'm still hopeful. Taking tomorrow off to lick my wounds. Good luck all!
I've mentioned it before. It sounds like you need to work on land management. If your land is good, I'd say your neighbors are pulling the deer with food. If neither of those are the issue, you need to think about how you are getting in and out of your sets. Put all 3 together and use your land to your advantage.
