Just got home. Buddy dropped a big doe. We seen a bunch of deer, one good antlered. He never came in though.

we took a slow stroll through the woods looking for a rabbit. Jump freeze shoot w/ a .22. I couldnt get him on one. I could have killed two. Hes a touch young for this fun none the less. One more deer try tomorrow for me....so pretty out! Paint that snow red tonight those that r hunting!

No shots fired. Only seen fawns and one shed buck. Too damn cold to be messing with fawns. Lol

whale shit. My plans are shot. Another hunter with a kid judging by tracks from his truck are still hunting from a ground blind in the same lot where i planned a morning hunt tomorrow. Im not stepping on toes at that property....i could hunt directly behind these deer at this different spot but feel its impossible to get close to the 30 or more deer here in the dark or light in this 8 acre lot. 5 bucks still holding bad pic with their heads down.

I'm done....but ended on a great note as I scouted the shit out of our place with 2 days of snow on the ground. I think it'll pay dividends.

Had a fun last sit yesterday but no blood spilled.Saw 9 bucks and several does the bucks were still holding. Saw lots of yote tracks so gonna have to work on them soon.
Was glad to get a buck with the muzzy this season now time to prepare for next season. Gotta get stands down adjust a few and do a little trimming then shed hunting will begin.

Close but no cigar this morning. Had a real nice 8 coming with 3 other deer but they were downwind. They got nervous and started going back same way they came. I ran up through our pines hoping they would take a left to me but i saw them all crossing the woodlot away from me.
