0-5…. It seems most everything comes “easy” for him. Killing a deer with a recurve has not been that way. He’s disgusted right now. Clean miss over her back. He’s just got to hang with it. Like anything, that first one is the hardest.

Side note: Mason shot this deer with broadheads Boarhead gave him using a bow a buddy gave us a couple months ago. The bow was his late father’s. It’s an Assenheimer, late 80’s model and it sports a string made by the legendary Hoot. These things take on special meaning.
