Got up to go hunt. I might be done for the year though. No motivation to waste another day chasing what isn't there. Pretty pathetic year. I'm defeated.

They all were moving during the 6 o'clock hour.
Only one young buck during legal time that walked right underneath me, and I got him on
video too. Just started to hail-snow. Brought the 
umbrella, just in case, might need it come midmorning.I'm hunting all day if needed, or however long I can possibly stand it, looking for a decent size antlerless
to havest today. 7 so far, all within bow range and only the buck was legal so far for the day.

I’m settled in. Fresh inch or two of snow on the ground, group of does were in here around 9 this morning and perfect wind. Got the camera with me tonight, hoping to make some red snow. Good luck if anyone else is out!
I'm out because of the snow and good wind conditions. Not overly optimistic, but I know I'll be wishing I was sitting with a bow in hand in a few weeks. Good luck everyone.

This season I had a lot of firsts, pretty much all bad. Tonight was no exception. First time ever shooting a deer in the spine, Christ. Oh well, she’s dead and going to be with her comrades in the freezer.
