Good luck guys ! Another victory for me ... wife was over talking to the neighbor who let's those Brittney's run amok . He figured I got a deer because the dogs have been inside upchucking a gut pile.

Heard em in the timber munching acorns, no sightings other than what looked like a decent buck on the way out. Hard as hell to see through binos in the dark with your headlamp on. Another piece of intel I guess, that’s the second time there were deer jumped there walking out.

Have a bunch of buddies down there in the Cape Coral area but from what I have heard the most help is needed in north port, pine island sound, port charlotte areas. So my dad, brother and I will be linking with FWC and local FD’s after being properly added to rescue teams/ volunteer teams, to assist with bringing people essentials and rescuing folks who need it. Two air boats and a mud boat. Should have boots on the ground by 6pm this evening.You do the same. Good on you also for doing this.

I just got everything situated and sat down to see this bobcat at the base of the tree. Still the Bobcat whisperer.

Out for her first hunt of the season. If we shot tonight, it has handles and warrants a taxi bill. Old dad ain't dealing with a deer on a school night unless it's well worth it!

Because my wife has a cleaning lady come to the house once in a while I jumped in a stand this morning. Watching the alfalfa field. Even though we are disappointed with how it turned out there have been 10+ deer hitting it in the evenings. Beautiful morning to be out.
