LIVE! From the Stand 2022-2023 Edition

I feel like dog shit this morning, so I'm gonna take the easy way out and hunt behind the house. I have one stand down in the holler where I can see a lot of ground and if anything is near me, they'll be in bow range. Just dosed up on Mucinex and ibuprofen, so I'm hoping a hot shower, coffee, and a sunrise from the stand helps me out a bit. The amount of snot and green gunk coming out of me is not pretty

I tried Mucinex one time. I also watched the hunger games for the first time that night. The dreams I had when I went to bed were disturbing. I will stick to good old Nyquil.

Got skunked yesterday morning and didn't have high expectations for the evening with 72 degree heat but the woods went crazy after 1800. His first time at 20 yards didn't offer a shot but chasing brought him back around. My largest rack and body.

Well, that was fun. I was out for an hr & nothing moving . Got back to the house & standing there drinking my coffee, I thought I saw a big doe over in the area of where I shot my buck. So I ran back to my blind & it was this guy coming thru again. I kept meh- ing to see his reaction, but he never stopped ...
