Not much from the nut lickers in the past few days. They are around but keeping their distance. Saw another little 8. About to get blown out of the tree and going to call it a day. Try again tomorrow morning.

My season is done, but came about five yards from this guy while hiking around Akron today. He didn't care less about me.

Hold on! wind andvisory. Locked buck and doe in a perfect spot to go after but hes to not one i want. Ill be drivhng back over throughout the day to see if any rivals show up in the wide open bean stuble. Deer are out and about in this wind with rain so close.

Ended the morning seeing 6 deer and 3 bobcats. Saw some rut action but it was a tiny buck. Fun time in the woods!

Got skunked yesterday morning and didn't have high expectations for the evening with 72 degree heat but the woods went crazy after 1800. His first time at 20 yards didn't offer a shot but chasing brought him back around. My largest rack and body.

Garage is clean. Backyard is cleaned up minus the leaves. Cleaned and cured a bunch of cast iron. Started winterizing the camper. And shuttled my tractor home. Time to watch some football. Good luck to anyone tough/crazy enough to hit the woods tonight!

30 mph winds, so I put a new set up and calling it a night. Haven’t set foot in this woods in over a month (never hunted this year) and had deer running everywhere 40 yards in

We're in without expectations. We are North of a thicket and sitting down a little (power line thru a bottom). Wind is way better than expected.
