Been settled in for about 30 min now. Mock scrape i made a couple weeks ago is freshly opened which gives me a glimmer of hope. Few does on the cam here yesterday going back to bedding around 3, so ideally I spooked them walking back here and setting up 
. Everything feels perfect, good wind, cold temps. I’m setup 75 yds downwind of a massive bedding area under 2 massive oaks that seem to be getting hit hard. Debating on whether I should do any calling or not. Good luck to anyone else out tonight.

I just picked an apple off the top of the pile with the 350...we are ready for youth season! If anything was in the woods, it aint now
I smoke a piece of osb with the 44mag and put another one almost in the same hole thought i missed at first. Having some issues with my boy about saturday. Hes benched!! Hunting is stupid. I think every living animal died here, haven’t even seen a squirrel. Only sign of life is a neighbor ripping around on his dirt bike and another blowing leaves. Fugg

Like I said, hunting is stupid. Bumped one, possibly 2 in the way out.
I'm out. Snow is on the ground & a buck was already nearby chasing a doe.

“Accidentally” overslept this morning, what a shame. May try to get out for an evening hunt… without the presence of buck deers literally anywhere I hunt is having me low on steam in a hurry. Come on gun law and late season.
I only have 2 does on camera, this one and her mom. That's it. No send, I repeat, no send. Buck deerz only

Very uneventful season so far with minimal buck activity on what is usually a pretty good property. 5 straight sits without a single deer seen. Yesterday morning, around 0915, this buck we've never seen on camera gave me a clean broadside shot at 15 yards. Main frame 10 with a kicker below his right brow tine. Clean shot, ran about 80 yards and made for an easy track.

Body was surprisingly small. We figure he was a 3yr old, seen plenty with much bigger bodies. Here's a pic with his whole body
