12 hour day. Only thing I saw was a Bobcat and dump truck all day. Got 35 ton of salt moved though. Need to get work done so I can hit the woods.

In my driving at first and last light there were a ton of deer out. Hopefully someone connected.

my boy got cold in the wind and i wasnt going to push him to stay due to my lack of being prepared. We came home with enough light for him to arrow a milk weed pod unloading the xbow. Saw no deer.

Skunked yesterday. Good ol hurricane coming in Friday so that's probably a wrap for this week.

Set up for the night in PA with my best friend trying to get his Buck tag punched or I’ll whack a big slick head if given the chance. Got a couple turkeys gobbling their heads off 70 yards away. Too bad season is a few weeks off still. Light rain setting in right now hopefully it ends soon

She wanted to hunt, but our practice session wasn't great due to her not liking the "jolt" of the bow going off. She wanted me to hunt, but I had a catastrophic failure with my practice arrow and now have no idea what's up with my bow. She started to cry because we weren't going to hunt, then she said "maybe we can go look for them tonight so sissy can shoot them another night". So that's what we're doing. She just wants to be outside and I can get behind that!

Took advantage of the cold front and got out for first sit and first time in my saddle set up. Saw several does and could have killed two young bucks. Not bad for going in blind and never hunting this spot before. Felt good to be back in a tree.

I swear Cooper is good luck for everyone else in our group when he's hunting.everytime he's been out so far somebody else shoots one. My other brother connected tonight. Cooper almost got it done on a big 7 point and he passed a couple does even tho he really wanted to shoot one we will be back at it this weekend. Besides the kids me and dad are the only ones with buck tags left and it's just a week Into season.

No deer killed by us but our mutual friend shot a big nanny and his friend shot a nice 10. We ended up seeing 10 deer on our hunt

Back in the saddle for the first deer hunt of the year. Never hunted this property before for deer but seen several deer here squirrel hunting.
