I’m back in again this morning. Slipped in across the creek in my waders and changed into my boots on the other side. I need another bridge. Can one man have too many bridges? Beautiful cold, still, foggy morning here in NW ohio. The bucks didn’t read the script last night but hopefully today proves to be a different story. Good luck fellas.

I've been going out each morning for recon sits. Nothing happening. Today im out & listening to a high-school marching band warm up a mile off. What kid gets up that early? Probably a band contest.
Fun fact : I was in the marching band in school & played tuba. We had all those contest shows as well.

Lots of movement last night. Saw a decent young 130s 10. He pushed a couple does around but mostly just fed through the field. Sitting a funnel on top of an oak flat. Some fresh rubs and scrapes. Nothing great on camera yet. First sit at this spot on the new property . I can hear turkeys cutting to my right as I type. Good luck fellas.

Hopefully I don’t regret this but I just handed out a free pass to a nice young 135” at 25 yards. Did a grunt sequence and he came running, looking for a fight, right to my decoy. That was fun.
