I’m out in a blind, small woods where my buddy seen a big 8 go into last night after dark. The ground was obnoxiously loud this morning, doubt I see anything with the noise I created walking and getting into my blind. Fuggin blinds are made for Dustin and Dave's height
You are a liar. Maybe for standing. But sitting they are made for you tall guys! And they don't make phone books anymore for my chair. 🖕🏿

I’m in. Made an aggressive move and went into a good bucks bedding. Winds good. Of course it’s loud as hell and deer blew at me on the way in. Definitely made me second guess my decision. Oh well going to ride it out all day and see what happens.
Blow back!

Loudest morning of the year! Might have cost me the buck I was after. Was about 10 steps from where I wanted to be when I heard leaves rustling. One sounded like a squirrel, the other like a human walking. I listened for a bit, was comfortable it wasn't deer, then took two more steps. Poof! There's goes a good buck from the "squirrel noise" and deep blowing from the "human noise". M'fer. Stood in the same spot for another 30 minutes waiting for a shot, but didn't hear any. Had 5 does come in and present beautiful shots before the biggest one saw me (she for sure saw the orange blob). Had meat been the mission, I'd be done. Moved to the next spot and will sit here until I get cold. Looking over that hill, I'm not sure how committed I am to my next two spots. I may end up back at the truck by 9:30, grab Micky Ds and take the long way home!

6 does and an 8pt that bedded 70 yards away. Two of those does were ancient and tried their best to bust me. Fortunately they didn’t. Haven’t even been able to enjoy my coffee yet and might piss my pants if this buck doesn’t leave. Actually not as cold as I thought it would be this morning.
Billy Madison comes to mind

This will be my "old man" spot some day. Can practically drive to it, have the sun at your back all day and with a nice mowed lane or two, will have good shooting. Add a feeder down there and it's about as good a spot as I have for the late season.
