First solo sit of the season for me. Mostly to avoid familial obligations I didn't want to partake in, but also as a dry run. Currently getting blown at by a doe with a fawn. She's not blowing at me based on where she came from and how she was acting already, but she's cramping my style. Feels good to be out despite her being a bitch 
I'm out for 1st hunt & just had company .....

The one on the left is an absolute stud. I don't think my cams ever caught him before . Stupid camera wouldn't focus ....
Up to 4 does and 746 squirrels. It's getting chilly with the wind picking up.

Called it shits, I mean quits. Couldn't hold off the prairie dogs any longer. Saw 4 does and a young buck. Watched the buck get in a knock down drag out with a sapling for a good 5 minutes. Still not sure who won, but it was fun to watch!

I'm living threw you guys. Didn't get to hunt yesterday because of work and a wedding, today Cooper has a baseball tournament so I won't be able to get out tonight either unless they move the last game up. I haven't carried a bow myself since ky. I might be headed back to ky next week with the muzzleloader if I get everything at the shop caught up.

We brought our good luck charm, middle sis, with us tonight. Had this guy show up 5 minutes after we got in the blind! She wants to film, so we'll see how it goes.

Per my typical routine, getting in and setup was 10/10 on the cluster fuck scale. Hunting the same public land as the other day, but found a perfect tree to hunt from so I lugged all my climbing gear. Well, I should’ve paid more attention and realized the only tree I was able to climb in a triple trunk oak was dead and split like 12’ up on the inside. I attempted to climb another tree nearby and that proved to be a complete waste of time due to way too much cover to even see through. So here my dumbass sits on the ground again, except this time I don’t have a seat or ghillie top. At least I can sit here and look at all this expensive saddle hunting shit that I’m not using. I hope everyone else out is having a touch more luck than I am. Fugg me

I'm out. 3rd for me 4th for us total... We have no deer this year. Count should be 20+ on a bad year. We seen 1 at 200 yds.
