Waiting for ty to get home at 4 to see when rain is going to let up. Says 4:30 right now, would be perfect to get in quietly and let it stop and cool off. Good luck all!

I’m out. Planned on ghillie’ing up with the stick now tonight, but the wind wasn’t doing what the weather app said it was forecasted to do. I decided I drove 35 min, I might as well sit in the ground blind I set up for my wife a few days ago. The deer on cam have adjusted very quickly to it. I was settled around 4, and had a decent 2.5 year old buck cruise by around 4:30 so the skunk is off. Hoping for a mature doe, but more than likely it’ll be a group of 4 button bucks and I have 0 plans of all 4 walking away safe. I have an antlerless permit I’d like to use, and I wanna make more jerky so I’m not gonna be picky, especially with the longbow in hand.
