I'm in, picked up last years deer head and thought what the hell might as well take him back to where we first met. He's in the truck and I'm in the stand I shot him out of. Wind has picked up quite a bit and I didn't dress warm enough.

One of my son's friends started hunting with us last year. Shot his first deer today. Track job of 670yds. He learned alot today.

Wow some venison hanging tonight!! Congratulations to all the hunters!!
My son and I hit the ground blind this evening, hoping to get his first deer. It didn’t quite work out but we had some extreme excitement! We saw close to 20 different deer and had a 140-150 nine pointer come inside 30 yards! Bub had the scope on him, but unfortunately we needed him on the near side of the Switchgrass and within 20 yards to pull something off. All the fun, none of the mess. We’re gonna bail on the home farm for a bit I think and let it rest up for youth gun weekend.
