Forecast lied, rain moved out and wasn’t supposed to come back. Was on stand @1 and @2 it started raining and didn’t stop raining until 4

Anyway, was covered in deer most of the evening. A BB and 3 doe bedded 50 yards upwind.
They were there for a couple hours. Then the does got up one by one and milled around browsing away from me. The BB stayed until last light, when one of my targets presented itself @45 yards, low light, fog rolling in, looked through the scope a couple times but never took the safety off….
All the fun, none of the mess. Tomorrow is another day…..
