Heading out to help a buddy setup a blind and brush it in, then back for a quick shower and out for an afternoon sit….. Rain has moved through. Hopefully it’ll have good movement this evening.
2 have hit this scrape already as rain was ending, 25mins apart. I accidentally deleted 2nd lol.
'bout to have a fight outside the blind. Funky 5 came in & then a few does chased in by a small 8. They squared off & walked circles @ each other. Spike entered the scene. 8 is pushing the doe @ .....
Doe just 'bout ran into the blind....doe taking a pee afterwards, hell, even I'm excited ....lol. Big boys haven't gotten the memo ....

Like I said earlier, Nov 6. I always seem to see good ruting action then. That's what got me into bow hunting. I already had been gun hunting deer & in 1986, I was out squirrel hunting on the 6th. Came close to getting run over a few times by deer. It was amazing ! Next year, I had Whitetail 2 in hand....lol

Decided to stay low impact until tomorrow. It's dead calm out here, so it's a good time to hunt low. If anything legit goes on around me, I'll hear it. There's been some does bedded nearby this week, so we shall see what happens.
Same chasing still going on, just over there ..... I'd say some of the big guys are on lock down for now....
Sitting over the water again. Feels like I'm at the beach. This is the reason I put the water in. Just need one to be worthy of shooting.
I'm in. Sweaty. Short hunt. Cameras don't have me optimistic. We shall see what happens. With men's group at the church tonight I'm going to be running to the truck to get home and change. Probably going to be late. Lol
Doe just came in & veered off at 30 yrds with bigger buck following. Still, not the grand poo pah ...... of course, they went by different blind .....

Forecast lied, rain moved out and wasn’t supposed to come back. Was on stand @1 and @2 it started raining and didn’t stop raining until 4 
Anyway, was covered in deer most of the evening. A BB and 3 doe bedded 50 yards upwind.
They were there for a couple hours. Then the does got up one by one and milled around browsing away from me. The BB stayed until last light, when one of my targets presented itself @45 yards, low light, fog rolling in, looked through the scope a couple times but never took the safety off….
All the fun, none of the mess. Tomorrow is another day…..

Also, while the deer were bedded in front of me, one of them was sneezing periodically 
First I heard it I was wtf? Was that a sneeze?
Then when the BB decided to leave he was grunting but it sounded so weird because he was so small
