Doe and her fawn wandered by, just a little thicker than I’d like. No idea how they didn’t wind me. They went directly down wind, thermals are not rising as of yet and I stink lol
8 so far, 7 does and this guy. He was strolling the field edge, headed to bed I’m sure.

The forkhorn ran off and this pretty 8pt stepped out. If you pan in and look to the left of him you can see our other blind

Same doe and fawn wandered back by down the same trail and still somehow didn’t wind me. Good chance I’ll be back in here this afternoon, scrape nearby was worked overnight. What’s it mean when they shit in the scrape?

Climbed up a tree. Much smoother than this am. Wind is behaving so far, we’ll see how long that lasts. Good luck to anyone else out this evening.

I'm in . First sit of the year for me . Forgot this and that lol. Trying to work out the bugs before rut vacation. Good luck to those out this morning. I'm hoping for a doe but if not just being out is a win !!!
First sit of the year for me as well. So far I have seen 1 deer not sure what it was was walking in.
I’ve had a climber tree stand stole (not mine a buddies don’t use stands)
A wildlife barrel feeder and 2 trail cams . Never had anything stolen in 15 years.
I really don’t think who ever done it realizes just how stupid they are. I’m hoping tho in the near future they will.
That’s all I’m going to say about that.
anyhow congrats to all the killers . Don’t plan on shooting anything soon unless it’s something that really tickles my fancy.
To early in the Season to end it. Need a lot more woods therapy time. Best of luck to all.

That sucks !! Some people are real pcs of shit . We had a climber and camera stolen 2 seasons ago on private land . I kinda know who did it but not 100% sure .

I've seen 2 does and 2 yearlings . A smal buck and a unknown. No shots .
