Got skunked last night, but I seen one already, so a good start despite the terrible weather. I about rode my bike right into this guy. He was clueless until he got downwind. One of two future non-typicals running around.
Work is going to screw me today, so I'm in the Pond Holler in case I need to bail for a call this morning, which is certain to happen at this point. It's nearly 60 degrees and the bugs are out. WTF?!? Only good thing is the Big 6 broke off his doe last night and was here a couple different times last night. There's does bedded nearby, so I'm hoping this creek bottom funnel will pay off despite the odds being against me.

I woke up with three twitchy fingers on my right hand and a feeling of no self control

I'm set up in the pinch blind. Doe & small buck dogging her just came out & he pushed her back in. I love this in your face action .
Bucks have been moving & this one followed my game plan. Just need the right buck to do the same ....

Don’t know if it’s okay to post here. Got word a giant was killed last night in guernsey right by my old permission. A deer I had on camera several times two years ago but never saw in daylight! @Floki heard anything about a split g2 on both sides being killed? buck being killed right around our area we hunt. Haven’t seen the pictures yet but hear he touched 200”

Called it quits. Walked back to the cabin & small basket 8 walked up to me.
I'm in! To beautiful out not to be. Did from 6:15 to 6:00 out here yesterday so getting here a little late today. Good luck hunters!
Hunted through the rain this morning. After it cleared up around 9:30, they were moving. Watched a WV 11 pt thrash a sapling thinking he was a badass until a 3 yr old 8 pt showed. He blew at it and ran to probably actual WV 
. The 8 hung around a while and mosied off. Everyone in our group saw bucks this morning except one. Back out in a few. Tomorrow is looking really promising…
