I’m in. Definitely forcing this hunt. Haven’t had a single genuine “shooter” on cam at this property between now and this past June. The wind is perfect and there’s been some pretty regular does, and this property in the past has been a decent hub this time of year so whatever. Should’ve done a better check of this stand over the summer. It’s kinda crooked and noisy. Doubt I sit late but gotta get it while I can. Fingers crossed. Good luck to anyone else out.
I posted that and it sounded like drunk guys stumble fucking around in the river between me and the house. So im still here. No grunting or anything. But for sure multiple somethings in the water tripping over rocks. 
Dumbass decision 4,258…see a bunch of midday activity on camera, plan for all day sit next day then put a bunch of hot sauce on your eggs. Hunting a bench full of acorns that leads over to neighbors property where apparently he has commercial sized troughs of corn. Hopefully a doe leads a stranger through here.

Great pic! Watched brothers of the bow again last night. One of the daughters commented in the comments it was cool. Found out both Gene and Barry were chiropractors and both had clinics in Montana. Nothin to do with in the stand but when you see that hat who you going to think about lol! Good luck!
Woke up to a perfect NE wind so I’m at the home property this morning. Feels like a good morning to see a mature buck on his feet. Already had two does in the plot when I climbed in. Then a nice young 8-pt came cruising through at 15 yards, on the same trail as the doe I shot a few nights ago. He’s been making his rounds through here all week.

Hell of a sit this morning. Seen 6 bucks already and I have a bloody arrow stuck in the ground 18 yards away. Saw where he went. Gonna give it some time before I go looking.
