First sit of gun season. Not going to jinx myself by saying it seems deery out. Looking for one more doe to stuff the new freezer. Hunting a bench full of oak trees so we’ll see.

I’ve been covered up for the last 3 nights. I have seen every age class of bucks around here except 4.5 plus. I passed up a halfway decent 8 numerous times and the neighbor shot him this morning. There have been so many little guys running the does around that I can’t get a mature doe to come in. All yearlings and young bucks.
