LIVE from the stand 2025-26

Settled in for the first sit of the season. Sitting on the outskirts of an oak flat on public. All the surrounding beans are turned so I’d imagine they’re starting to switch food sources. Doubt I shoot anything, mostly because I’m too lazy and work tomorrow morning

I tried to let him kill it but he had no shot and it started stomping at us as we were playing crossbow handoff. So I gave her the medicine

No bolts fired but seen a pile and had great time. Really good first set!
Had a “near shooter” at 17 yards in the last 20 minutes. Light was fleeting, and he wasn’t quite enough for me to burn my tag this early. Still an exciting and solid opening day hunt.
