I let one fly on a doe this morning that did nothing but try to ruin my hunt. Now she’s packed away in the freezer and I wish I was back out in the timber instead of the water plant lol. Good luck all.

Congrats!
Been drizzly/steady rain here since about 2pm. Nothing on radar and everything is soaked. Decided to not hunt tonight.
Glenna is shooting. Headded to Maxx thread now.... sorry, 2 hrs sleep in 2 days...

Im pretty well marinated...looking forward to a text or a call from someone. Lol
Nine hours hunting travel corridors in southeast Ohio on private land on November 8th and one spike seen. No other sounds remotely sounding like deer. You can’t do this stuff and still claim to be sane. I’ll be back at it tomorrow in the rain. I would also like just one clean shot on a squirrel. Bare knuckled, right in the buck tooth face.
One single button buck this evening. Worst evening hunt of the trip. Probably didn’t help a couple guys sighting in the deer guns for an hour and a half while I was on stand 200 yards away…..

We are in the blind a little closer to them than this camera. She wanted the young ten point bad but he kept dogging those does and we couldn't get off a clean shot. All the fun and no mess but she's not buying it!

Handful of squirrels and a red fox. Got hissed at by a mystery deer on my way out. Back at it in the am. Possible snow comin.
I shoulda looked what I was typing Ric, it was 200 yards not 20…..20 yards away???? Did they not see you?
Trail cams pretty dead overnight but going to sit in rain for short one this morning. Somehow I missed that my wife scheduled family pictures during the rut. I’m sure I’ll have to wear some specific outfit and go lay in a pile of leaves or something stupid while someone takes our picture then hightail it back to the stand. I’m gonna have to start marking “Don’t even think about it” on the family calendar for the first 2 weeks of November.
Dumping snow here now post rain. Snow is sticking surprisingly well but I doubt it lasts with how warm the ground is. I’m not hunting, but I’m filming a hunt so we will see. Planned to sleep in with the rain in the forecast, but figured getting a kill on video for someone would be cool. We’ll see. Good luck to anyone else out, it’s gorgeous now.

Well, if trying to hunt in that with no rain gear wasn’t dumbass decision 4,259, I don’t know what is. Keep an eye on the countdown to 4,300–I’m sure I’ll hit it by Saturday.
Window hunting you say ? I just bought / ordered Renewal by Anderson for our living room picture window. IF ....you go that route, PLEASE tell them I recomendedI them ....
Lol, Kevin, same as road hunting. I ain't looking to buy any roads or windows. I'm looking out of the windows watching the backyard and field
