LIVE from the stand 2025-26

The doe went about 75 yards and was stone dead. Beats me!! Luckily my father in law is our local drone guy. We figured we would check her around 9 and obviously found her instantly with the drone. Thank god because I’m thinking the meat would have been a little rough if we let it lay all night in the warm weather.

Elli is very excited. Her second deer ever and second this year. She’s cut up and we are making deer burritos tomorrow with the family.

Good luck to all of ya

Had all the fun with none of the mess despite the swaying I was doing in the tree. Neighbor fired up the tractor. Doe and yearling moved in. Was going to shoot the doe when she alerted me to the 8 pt coming from the other direction. He made me take a second look. Neighbor fired up the tractor again and they left. Cameras were on fire just after dark. Will be back in the morning.

Drove Lima to Cardington for a wedding. Driving home after dark there were a TON of deer exiting the venue. Less once we were on 23 and 30. Thankfully didn't see any on the interstate. Saw a handful the few miles from I75 to the house. Saw nothing driving over this afternoon. Must've have been waiting until dark to move.

Big congrats to Elli and @Diablo54! Not sure how you have kids this age already. Must've happened while I was busy chasing my kids. Keep making the memories, Taylor. You won't regret the time spent with the kids.
