Shot was right at last light and she said it was a good hit. He made it out of the field and I wasn't wanting to take any chances so we called in the A-Team. Brock and his amazing drone which made for a easy recovery. The shot was true as she said and he didn't go far. I couldn't be more proud of her ! And we had a great time!! Thanks again Brock that was great learning what one of those drones can do. I'll never forget that. Congratulations to everyone that tagged one today and good luck to those going out in the morning!!View attachment 214833

Took these two boys to Wayne for a big woods experience. Letting them pick their spots (14 &16). Both saw does, that got the pass on day 1. See what today brings.
Heard one shot and it was my buddy and his daughter down the road, looks like she shot a nice 8. Gonna grab the tarsals on my way home. Haven’t seen a single deer. 17 squirrels, and 2 different flocks of turkeys, one of which had 2 smoke phase hens in it. I’ll give it a little while longer then I’m out.
Not sure how many more skunks I can handle. I need to change it up.

The deer are pitching a shutout this morning for me, looking like I picked the wrong spot to go to
We’re skunked here too… giving it another 30 then headed home for breakfast.

My buddy texted me at 710 and told me to stop dickin’ around and poke a hole. At 716 a doe followed the script. Not a whole lot of blood and I was very nervous but figured out she had doubled back. Was under 50 yards from the stand. She was a heffer!
