I’m in for whatever reason. It’s cold. Hoping for anything mature. Really only need 1 more for the freezer, but will kill another later on if it’s mature and has antlers but that is doubtful.

Mature doe and her fawn came through. Could’ve shot the fawn but passed. Mature doe stood directly down wind of me, behind a tree like a statue for 25 minutes at 30 yards. They both wandered off at last light.
Anybody else seeing a noticeable spike in coyote activity on the trail cams last few days? Thinking I have a better chance at a yote this weekend than a doe.
I’m in… so dumb. It’s my first day “off” after my completion of school so what better way to celebrate than to sit 20’ up in 0° wind chill mid morning hoping for a doe 
A handful have been fairly regular between 10 and 11:30 so I figured it’s my last day for this lotto hunt, might as well give it a rip. I had to come out here anyway since my taxidermist called and said my buck from last year was done. I’m not too optimistic, and doubt I sit in this cold ass wind for more than 1.5-2 hours but we’ll see. I would say good luck to anyone else out, but I have a feeling there’s no one else out right now.

Had 3 mature does come through. All were within range at one point or another, but the lack of cover, 3 sets of eyes and their nervousness made it impossible to draw. They never stopped at the bait either. I could’ve sent a Hail Mary at 60 but figured that probably wasn’t a good idea

Im not sure how I made it in without scaring every animal within a 3 mile radius but we'll find out. If anything, hopefully pushed stuff back toward my place for the evening with the kid. I have great wind for this bedding, I'm high in a tree and I can hear for a long way. Hopefully i beat them back to bed.
We’re in. My buddy wanted to sit together and hold hands, but I didn’t want to sit 200 yards from the parking lot. I’m on a small hill top with a decent view, bumped 1 very close to where I’m sitting. Pressure is about what I expected, with most guys on the north side taking advantage of the alleged S wind. Hoping they’ll bump something my way. After a buck, but won’t pass a doe opportunity. Just heard a shot, within a couple hundred yards. Few minutes early per the DNR app.

No deer yet. Metric fuck ton of pine squirrels though. Close to 20 shots so far. Gonna sit for another 20 minutes or so then wind bump a small thicket on my way out to the truck.
