In a set where a oak fence row dead ends into a crick. Corn on my left, beans on my right, the crick behind me, and the wind in my face. There is a hell of a trail crossing the fence row from corn to beans. We will see what happens.

Momma at work. I was soccer player taxi service tonight. Sitting in a spot gassing from a distance. Saw 1 or 2yr old 8pt bedded in CRP move on to feed. He was nudged by a little one frolicking close by him. I'm ate up. Even on a night I am not hunting. . . I am out scouting. Just about have to be if I want to locate one.

Had a doe and fawn under me, wife saw 5. She said one was a decent buck.

Did a little glassing tonight too, no hunting. Saw three, nothing real interesting though.

Had 5 stroll by @ 6:30 and almost pulled the trigger on the lead one as she was huge..... Figured with my luck my target buck would be right behind them..... Passed on her and nothing came thru the remainder of the evening......

We had a couple yearlings pass by. Small 4 point and a small doe. Layla has an itchy trigger finger, but I talked her out of it.
