Was able to wiggle my way out of work early. Sitting where I sat on Fri morning. See a couple new rubs. We will see what happens.

Good luck to all those out.

Target number 1 went up this hill at 630 this morning. I'm waiting in hopes he comes down it this evening Of course he could be 5 miles away by now too...

Set up at 3ish. Neighbor was cutting and chipping logs about 50 yards from doe bedding where they went this morning.... He's always out on his land doing stuff, just hope they are that used to the noise and commotion. Getting frustrated lately with lack of deer sightings. A doe will be in trouble soon. Maybe not tonight.

Fugg me got a decision to make. Just gut shot a stud 10. Arrow grazed a sapling. [emoji35] Know for a fact it's gut. Could smell it. Got some blood that's not a dark red, but not super bright either. I also know he made it off the property.

Got some rain moving in here in a little bit. First thought was back out and come back in the morning, but with this rain do I chance it.

Hope you are able to recover him in the morning, Hoyt. Keep us posted.

I didn't hunt today but driving close to my house right before dark I saw a doe and two young ones in a field together. They were in the field a few minutes before sunset with still a half hour of shooting light but no buck following them.
