I walked by my deer 10 foot away 12 times. U have to look diligently..... learn from my mistake. He's sround somewhere untouched gut shot deer dont go 300 yards. He's there somwhere

Had a fawn come by early,at 9 had a nice one chasing doe in the thicket,fuggar stopped at 15 yds in the brush,no shot,chased some more and stopped at 35 in the open,outta my range so had to watch him run off chasing the doe.Damn!

i was surprised as well.. Never seen one do that but he was so bug eyed I think he had tail in his mind...I mean for Christ sake he had 2 2" holes on either side of him

No action for me in my new stand but Gunners got deer running everywhere. Fingers crossed. Best of luck to ya Hoyt. It sucks but eventually buzzards will lead you to him if you can't find him sooner.

On the way out i saw 10-12 scrapes that have been freshened up recently.

Think ive averaged a deer per 12 hours the last damn week. Time to get into them. Will revisit this property at some point and hope it produces a good hunt or two later in the month like last year.
