It's better off to leave it die. Then go get it in the am when I can see and not bump it or other deer. Always smarter to back out. Still have tags left. Just looking for a doe. Sorry if it seemed like I was just leaving it. Il get it after this am

You do realize you must have a temporary tag attached to a deer you've killed prior to shooting another one? It's one thing to do what your doing on the down low; it's another thing to broadcast it to the world.

Morning all. Let's do this!

My buddy Hunted not far from where I am now just night. Hot doe was in here because he saw a kick down brawl between a buck that he said was at least a 12 and an 8. The12 walked under him. He shot once and the rail on his climber messed him up. Second shot at 25 hit a limb.

Hope the hot doe brings him back this morning. We've got this side of your hollow covered. He's down near the bend. I'm at the front.

I think I would be looking for that buck instead of hunting. Truth is, if you shoot another one before tagging the first, you just broke the law.

I understand that. I'm in the field filming my cousins hunt and waiting for deer to filter out. And then I'll go after him. Not trying to anything funny, sorry if anyone got that impression. I'm not gonna kill anything til I put a tag on that one.

The other thing to consider is you are on public land right? Telecheck makes it easy to get your cousin's buddy's sister's uncle who doesn't hunt to tag a deer. There are unscrupulous people out there. I wouldn't wait too long if I were you. Someone may find him before you do and help themselves.

Don't need to worry bout that, on private land. Thank God. 350 acres in Medina county. He's probably 100 yds. away. Yeah that telecheck thing is shady. I wish they just had the old check stations. Don't hunt public for that reason. No offense to anyone but I don't trust my stuff where people can easily take it.

Well I borrowed a rifle from a buddy at work that won't be using it.. I got it sighted in Friday and now I'm sitting in our newly built "condo" just waiting for a guilty looking deer to walk out..

Dad and I are about 600 yards apart. He's sitting where all the action was yesterday. I am out at the other end of the ridge. Good luck boys!
