I got skunked tonight. I had to hunt where I didn't want to because a dog tried to follow me to the stand I wanted to hunt. I went half way across the field, back to the truck, half way again, back to the truck. Stupid people that own this dog need to buy a rope if they can't afford a kennel.

4 bucks, 6 antler less. Had a hot doe feeding in the hay field tonight. Just before dark 2 bucks made there way out, to chase her around for a few minutes. Then they would stop and fight, then run her some more. This kept going on well into dark,as I slipped out.

I just might get up and slide in there in the morning.

Well, I know I smacked him good with the way he ran away and the blood with bubbles in it. The thicket he's in is so thick I can't see anything at night. I'm not sure but I heard a deer bump while I was trailing him, I mean doesn't mean anything cuz there was 7 other deer around so could have been them. Who knows. I'll go after him after tomorrow's morning hunt.
So dude you come on here and say ya found the buck and never show back up to tell us about it or show pics.Whats up with that?
Must be out trying to get that doe now huh?

Bubbles? Yet you bumped him? Yet you found him? Then you disappear?

Guess he doesn't need TOO anymore Brian. Or. . . maybe we should just call it what it is. . . .

Ended up covered in deer. Couldn't get out of the stand. Just none were what I wanted. All within bow range at one point or another.

Figured out that someone on a neighboring property shot that buck Sunday around 12pm. They walked by all my cams looking for it...

Great night on stand for me. Got set up around 4:00. I ended up seeing 3 bucks and a couple does. The first buck came through a briar thicket and I didn't get a real good look at him. What I did see made me grab the bow at least. Shortly after a 125-130" 8 came through. Nose down trotting. Right before dark I had a buck chasing does In some thicker woods behind me. I never got a good look at him, but the flashes of antler I did see looked big. Real big. I wish I was off tomorrow and could sit there in the morning! The after school, hustle to the stand sits just aren't long enough. I will be up there again tomorrow.

Been a long ass day guys... I hit this one at 7:45 this morning

After finding first blood, I backed out and waited til noon to pick up the trail because I wasn't sure of the hit.

Lost blood around 4. Headed home to regroup and went back out with my buddy.
Found a helluva clot, but ran outta blood.

My best guess is it was a one lung hit because of the steep angle. My dad and his buddy are supposed to pick up the trail in the morning since I have to work. I'll be heading out after work to look more.

I'm sick guys. Wait for that shot, then blow it.
