I am back finishing the work on one of my rentals. Had a fun sit this morning. Should have cut out early to hunt but I am just on a doe mission for one of my employee's freezers. I am working and he is hunting my stands. He gets seat time, I save payroll. Win win. He hasn't had much chance to hunt. Glad he is out. Would have been nice if we each tagged one for him today. I still have 2 tags I can full for myself.

5 straight days of 9-10 hours in the stand. No shooters, several does and a small buck most days. Hunt in the morning then pack it in and bring back the oldest boy and wife for late gun season. May they can get one this year.

Buddy smoked a doe from 94 yards with his muzzleloader. This farm showed no signs of pressure. Deer coming from the woods to feed on the oats and turnips. I had two yearlings on each side of me, but I hate shooting the youngsters for what little meat they yield. All in all a great night.

Ugh! Checked the cam at my other stand and it had a nice 130+ deer on it at 5:25 yesterday , would have been an easy kill. Sometimes I wish I didn't know what could have been. Oh well know where to hunt in the morning.

Usually can't get into gun hunting, but my dad, brother and a couple others are going out this am to sit. Hopefully all the idiots on neighboring properties on their four wheelers and slinging lead at anything that moves runs the deer into our laps. Gonna sound like WWIII.

Here is why the stealth cam wireless is awesome. Got woke up by my phone with pics of action at my stand. Been hanging out for an hour. Now can I get there without getting busted and will the 3 big boys be around. If this don't get you up and going nothing will.

I'm up, haven't been out for a week. I have no motivation but, I'm going anyway. I just gotta decide gun or bow.

Well, I'm walking in to rot in a tree . Hopefully a shooter shows . Most likely I'll just be wishing I went walleye fishing

Going old school this morning. Found me a nice cluster of trees and kicked out a spot so I can sit, or stand and have a little mobility. Sitting on a hogsback watching an area where I always see deer coming from or going to. Pretty thick, so it's a good place to escape the orange army.

Good luck to all who are out this morning. Shoot straight and be safe!

Creepiest morninng i can recall. Thick frozen fog, everything is coated with heavy frost. The headlamp beam was like driving in a blizzard. This is like some shit out of a movie.

Foggy and eerily quiet. Saw some new vehicles parked I have never seen before. Oh how peachy. Bump me a fat doe boys and I will leave.

God luck and be safe all!
